HSP (Highly Sensitive Person)
College can be an exciting chapter, but for Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), it can also bring challenges. HSPs experience the world with heightened sensitivity to emotion, environment, and sensory input. Being a student-athlete is both rewarding and demanding. Balancing academics, athletics, and social life requires energy, focus, and resilience. For many, it becomes overwhelming—especially when physical, emotional, and mental demands collide.
